Terms of Use

Patient Portal Terms of Use

Version 2026-09-27 · in force since 27 September 2026.

In one sentence: the Patient Portal keeps your test results in one place, in order, and shows what has changed over time. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe and does not replace your medical appointment.

1. Who provides this service

The Patient Portal is provided under the SOLONEXA brand. The legal name and CNPJ (Brazilian company registration number) of the responsible company appear on invoices and billing, and are provided to anyone who asks. Contact: contato@solonexa.com.

2. What the service does

3. What the service does NOT do

It is not a diagnosis and not medical advice. Nothing shown in the Portal is a medical report, diagnosis, prescription, treatment recommendation or promise of results. Reference ranges and explanations are general information, not a target set for you.

It does not replace your doctor. Any decision about your health belongs to the professional who looks after you, with your test result in hand and your case in front of them.

It is not an emergency service. If you feel unwell, seek care. In an emergency, call 192 (SAMU) in Brazil; outside Brazil, your local emergency number (911 in the USA). If you are in emotional distress, CVV answers free of charge, 24 hours a day, on 188.

4. Automatic reading can make mistakes

Part of the reading of lab reports is done by computer software, including artificial intelligence. This speeds things up a great deal and sometimes gets it wrong: it may misread a number, skip a result or mix up the unit. The laboratory's original report is always the truth. The Portal organizes it; it does not replace it.

Always check the value in the report before drawing any conclusion, and take the report to your appointment.

5. Your account and your access

6. What you may not do

Breaching these rules may lead to suspension or closure of access.

7. Usage limits

Signing up is free. Some services may be paid; the price is shown before you pay.

The service has usage limits per person and per day: for sign-ups, file uploads and automatic reading. They exist to keep the service running for everyone, and they may change. When you reach a limit, the Portal tells you on screen.

8. Availability

We do our best to keep the Portal online, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. There may be downtime for maintenance, supplier failures or interruptions beyond our control. We keep daily backups, and even so, keep your original lab reports: the Portal is an organized copy, not your only record.

9. Closing your account

You can close your account whenever you want, without giving a reason, by writing to contato@solonexa.com. What happens to your data in that case is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Ownership

Your test results and your data are yours. The software, the website, the SOLONEXA brand and the explanatory texts are ours, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

11. Scientific research (optional)

You may authorize your test results to be used, without your name and together with those of other people, in scientific studies. It is optional, it comes unticked, and saying no changes nothing about your access. You can turn it on and off whenever you like. Details in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may change this text. When a change is significant, we will let you know through the contact channels you gave us and ask you to accept again before continuing. The version in force is always the one on this page, with the date at the top.

13. Governing law

Brazilian law applies, in particular the Consumer Protection Code and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018). The courts of Campinas, São Paulo State, are chosen as the venue, without prejudice to the consumer's right to choose the courts of their own domicile. SOLONEXA services are provided from Brazil, under Brazilian law. If you use them from another country, you do so on your own initiative. If you live outside Brazil, you keep the consumer protections that the law of your country does not allow to be waived.
